EBLEX, the organisation for the English beef and sheep industry has a full list of downloadable manuals from the Better returns programme for English sheep producers.
I find them informative and good reading. For example, in the manual SBRP Manual 4 - Target ewe management for better returns there is an excellent breeding calendar which provides five critical dates for a 147 day gestation period; 10 weeks pre-tupping, Tupping, 4 weeks after tupping, Scanning, 8 weeks pre-lambing, Lambing and Weaning.
