New sheep literature - Sheep Health, Husbandry and Disease: A Photographic Guide

Agnes C Winter's new book Sheep Health, Husbandry and Disease: A Photographic Guidewill be released Jan 24, 2011.

Co-written with Clare Phythian, the book aims to give a veterinary view on disease and welfare issues through detailed photographs including practical tasks such as how to check teeth, feet and udders, vaccination schedules, injection techniques and parasite control.

Agnes C Winter is a specialist sheep vet and the past President of the Sheep Veterinary Society, President of the Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeder's Association and Vice President of the European College of Small Ruminant Health Management. She is now Honorary Professor of the Veterinary School at The University of Liverpool where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 2008.
